Online booking for Tirupati now at more post offices

Department of Posts, Karnataka Postal Circle, in association with Tirupati Tirumala Devasthanam (TTD) and Andhra Pradesh Postal Circle has extended the facility of online ticket bookings of TTD, Tirupati special darshan through Bengaluru GPO and 54 other head post offices in Karnataka.
The places are: Bengaluru GPO, head offices of HAL II stage, RT Nagar, Basavanagudi, Jayanagar, Jalahalli, Rajajinagar, Channapatna, Bagalkot, Jamkhandi, Bailhongal, Belagavi, Ramdurg, Ballari, Hospet, Bidar, Vijayapura, Athani, Chikkodi, Dharwad, Hubli, Gadag, Koppal, Gokak, Kalaburagi, Yadgir, Haveri, Karwar, Kumta, Raichur, Sirsi, Chikkamagaluru, Koppa, Chitradurga, Davangere, Arsikere, Hassan, Madikeri, Chikkaballapur, Kolar, Mandya, Srirangapatna, Mangaluru, Kollegal, Nanjangud, Karkala, Puttur, Bhadravathi, Sagar, Shivamogga, Tiptur, Tumakuru, Kundapur, Manipal and Udupi.

The services will commence from January 1, 2016. Pilgrims can plan the date and timing of their TTD darshan before 60 days.
At the post office counter, the devotees have to produce photo identity cards and mobile numbers. A photo of the pilgrim, the ID card and mobile number will be captured.
At present, the Tirupati Tirumala Devasthanam special darshan entry charges are at Rs 300 per person. At a time with one ticket, a maximum of six persons will be permitted for the special darshan.
