Like master, like pupil

Before the Indian Super League started last year, Chennaiyin FC’s Bernard Mendy had spoken about the tactical influence that Jose Mourinho had over Marco Materazzi during his time at Inter Milan and how that was in turn percolating to the squad.
On Wednesday, something cheeky made its appearance as Materazzi sat at the table during the pre-match press briefing, scribbling on a notepad throughout.
Mourinho’s stock answers after Chelsea’s loss to Liverpool over the weekend were, “No,” “Nothing,” and “Nothing to say.”
Materazzi’s went thus: Will the 4-0 defeat of Goa earlier count? “No, I don’t think so.” Are you over-dependent on Elano? “No. I am not worried. I watch them everyday.”
Does Fikru’s form worry you? “No.” Is conceding five penalties a concern? “I count only two.”
Why do you rotate the squad so much? “I decide based on everyday’s training.”
The only elaborate answer was when a scribe asked about why Bruno Pelissari was not figuring much.
May be, like master like disciple.
