Now, Salman should marry, settle down: B-town
MUMBAI: Dec 10, 2015, DHNS:
Bollywood fraternity welcomed the verdict of the Bombay High Court acquitting Salman Khan of all charges in a 13-year-old case, saying the actor has suffered a lot for over a decade and could not even tie the nuptial knot.
Several celebrities used their Twitter handle to express their reactions and send wishes to 49-year-old Khan, one of the most successful actors.
“He has got a relief...we are relieved...he has suffered for the last 13 years, he has refused to get married, there was a sword hanging all time. God has been kind. I cannot claim technicality of law,” veteran filmmaker Subhash Ghai said.
Actress-politician Hema Malini said: “We all feel good about him and this is a great news for all of us. He should now settle down and get married. This is what I wish for him.”
“For 13 years, he was going through this ordeal. So, it is a great news for the film industry, directors, producers and even his fans. I haven’t read the judgment but Bombay High Court definitely saw something and gave the verdict which was absolutely right. It is a big, big relief for Salman,” Madhur Bhandarkar said.
Veteran actor Anupam Kher said: “So happy that @BeingSalmanKhan is acquitted of all charges. Truth Prevails. Even if it takes 13 long years.”
