1. Virgin iron ore: The source of primary iron. This turns to hot metal in the blast furnace
2. Hot metal from blast furnace: This is then sent for desulpharisation and de-phosphorisation
3. Low phosphorous primary steel: This grade of steel contains only 0.3 per cent of phosphate, and is sent for further purification before reaching the rolling mill
4. Rolling mill: Factory or machine for rolling steel into sheets. The three types are bar mill, merchant mill, and wire rod mill.
5. Final test: After the rolled steel passes multiple steps and gets clearance, it is shipped"
6. Shipment: Steel is dispatched to destinations for end-users
