Vishy spurs Elite Blues CC to 3-wkt win

 Vishy scalped four wickets as Elite Blues CC registered a three wickets victory over Sparklers Cricket Club in a rain-curtailed match in the YS Ramaswamy Memorial cricket tournament here on Saturday.

Batting first, Sparklers CC rode on handy knocks from Sunil (29) and Sidda Reddy (37 n.o.) to post 169/7 in 38 overs. Vishy with figures 4/30 did the damage for Elite Blues.

The target, however, was revised to 121 in 26 overs due to rain. Elite Blues reached the mark in 23.2 for the loss of seven wickets. Anand top scored with 25 for the winners.

Lions Cricket Club: 119 all out in 31.4 overs (Vignesh Bhat 30; Bhavesh Gulecha 2-21, Gnan Akash 4-22, Vallish 2-13) lt to Modern Cricket Club: 120/2 in 21 overs (Ankit Uduppa 34 n.o., Bhavesh Gulecha 33; Ajshay 2-33).
