What cricket can't, fashion can!
MUMBAI, Nov 29, 2015, dhns
At a time when there is still uncertainty about cricket matches between India and Pakistan, the fashion world has moved ahead.
The elegant Ajrak cloth from Sindh will match charms with the exclusive Ahimsa silk of India at the third season of the India Fashion Week Dubai (IFWD).
A melting pot of Indo-Pak fashion, the IFWD is bringing Indian and Pakistani fashion designers and trendsetters on one platform.
To be hosted on December 1-2 at the Address Dubai Marina, IFWD’s fashion equity will be enhanced further with ace Indian designer and couturier Archana Kochhar and the leading Pakistani designer Deepak Perwani coming together for the grand finale.
Set in the heart of Dubai, IFWD is a favourite among fashion pundits worldwide for its unmatchable content, flawless executions, as well as dramatic appearances on the ramp. An initiative by the Ministry of Events and Dream Advertising, the two-day fashion extravaganza will showcase collections from different designers ranging from bridal to ethnic wear.
Shujah Syed, CEO of Ministry of Events and organiser of IFWD, said: “This season, we are very excited to host the Indian and Pakistani designers on one platform.”
